BELLEVILLE NEWS-DEMOCRAT MONDAY, NOVEMBER 28, 2005 Continued from Page B2 Leroy Hamm Sr. Leroy W. Hamm 88, of O'Fallon, born April 22, 1917, in Caseyville Township, died Saturday, Nov. 26, 2005, at O'Fallon Health Care, O'Fallon, Ill. Mr.

Hamm was the sales manager for 0'- Fallon Motor Company. He was employed at Independent Engineering for 32 years, St. Louis and O'Fallon Coal Company and Modern Engineering, retiring in 1983. He was a lifetime member of the O'Fallon Senior Citizens, Belleville Moose Lodge 1221 and the Sportsmans Club. He was a past member of the Welding Society club of Missouri, a member of the Horseless Carriage Club of Hershey, Horseless Carriage Club of St.

Louis, the Gateway Antique Club of Missouri, the Automobile Collectors Club of the Greater Belleville Area and Teamsters Local 50. He was past president of the O'Fallon Homecoming and a member of the O'Fallon United Church of Christ and the 50 Plus Club. He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin H. and Hilda nee Gross, Hamm; and his wife, Erma nee Isaac, Hamm. Surviving are his daughter, Jean M.

(Ronald May of O'Fallon, a son, Leroy Mary Mary Lucille Fields of Dupo, born Dec. 28, 1923, in Blytheville, died Sunday, Nov. 27, 2005, at Red Bud Regional Hospital, Red Bud, Ill. Mrs. Fields was a member of First Baptist Church, Dupo, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Nyal Fields; her parents, Henry and Leona, nee Matthews, McClung; four brothers, one sister; and two grandchildren, Shane Meehan and Kelly Fields. Surviving are her four children, Barbara (Perry) Meehan of Dupo, Richard (Deborah) Fields of Dupo, "Bill" (Pamela) Hamm of O'- Fallon, two brothers, Ben E. (Marian) Hamm and Vernon L. (Colleen) Hamm both of O'Fallon, grandchildren, Richard "Rick" (Jean) Greiner of Rich (Lisa) Greiner of Peach Tree, David Hamm of O'Fallon, and Jodie (Jimmie) Manley of O'Fallon, greatgrandchildren, Aaron, Adam and Kara Greiner; and special friends, Virginia Hartzke, Wayne McKinley, Vernon Monken and Squire Adams. Memorials may be made to the O'Fallon United Church of Christ or Heartland Hospice.
