Where is the Icebellow Anvil in WoW? ›

Icebellow Anvil is an anvil located in the Military Quarter of Naxxramas. Two Icebellow Furnaces are located on the wall behind the anvil.

According to the beta, the source of the plans for Alvin the Anvil battle pet (Plans: Alvin the Anvil) are a drop from "Powerful Blacksmiths". The plans appear to be BOE, and can be bought and sold on the AH.

Most forges and anvils are found inside major towns and cities, but these can also sometimes be far out of your way, or right in your area. Outside of towns and cities, there are scattered forges and anvils in small flight point settlements and mob encampments.

An anvil is required for most Blacksmithing and Engineering recipes. You do not have to interact with the anvil, you just have to be in the vicinity of the anvil. An anvil graphic is not necessarily a functional anvil in the game. Generally, a usable anvil will be selectable (but does not have to be selected).

The Black Anvil is a large anvil in the center of Shadowforge City in Blackrock Depths. Guarded by Lord Incendius, this anvil is required to craft all Dark Iron items.

Plans: Alvin the Anvil have a very low chance to drop from the bosss Forgemaster Gorek in the dungeon Neltharus as well as by Rohzor Forgemaster, an elite rare in the Waking Shores.

In the crafting menu, you should see a crafting area that is made up of a 3x3 crafting grid. To make an anvil, place 3 blocks of iron and 4 iron ingots in the 3x3 crafting grid.

This Object can be found in Stormwind City.

Anvils can be mined using any pickaxe. If mined without a pickaxe, they drop nothing.

Thermal Anvil is an engineering item. Using it places a Thermal Anvil, which can be used by players as both an anvil and a forge.

The valley of honor is the only place with a forge and anvil in Org (to my knowledge). The distance from the bank is quite long and the run feels tedious, especially for players without mount training.

A good rule of thumb is that your anvil should be at least 50 times heavier that what your striking with. So if you're using a 1kg hammer to forge blades, then you need at least a 50kg anvil. If your anvil isn't heavy enough you can make it heavier by making the base heavier.

To unlock The Anvil, also known as Patrick, in the Order tab, you'll need to obtain Two Clues. You can get the First Clue by killing The Scabbard. The clue obtained from here will point you towards Saint Albanes Abbey. Go to Saint Albanes Abbey's forge, where you'll find the Second Clue on a table.

You craft a set of bellows, then a forge, place the forge, place more iron and clay in the forge to melt. When the iron reaches two hundred and you click on the forge, anvil should be highlighted (showing white) on the left hand recipes side so that you can create it. Click on it, and craft.

To unlock A Head for Metal you have to return Restored Obsidian Key to Forgemaster Bazentus.
