- Hannah Waddingham shuts down photographer for asking her to "show leg"
"Have some manners."
Ted Lasso star Hannah Waddingham had stern words for a photographer whilst posing on the Olivier Awards red carpet last night (April 14).
A fan video taken of the exchange, which has since been shared on X, sees the actor call out a photographer's request to "show leg".
"Oh my God, you'd never say that to a man, my friend," said Waddingham, before adding: "Don't be a d**k otherwise I’ll move off. Don't say 'show me leg'. No."

As she walked away from the red carpet towards the Royal Albert Hall, where the event was taking place, the Ted Lasso star told the photographer to "Have some manners".
Waddingham was on hosting duties at the 2024 Oliver Awards, returning for a second year to present, having impressed at last year's ceremony.
As part of the night's entertainment, Waddingham, who has an extensive stage background, performed a rendition of 'Anything Goes' from the 1934 musical of the same name.

Winners on the night included The Masked Singer US judge Nicole Scherzinger, who won the Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Musical, for her role as Norma Desmond in Sunset Boulevard.
The Jamie Lloyd production, which ran at the Savoy Theatre between September 2023 and January 2024, was the biggest winner of the night, taking home seven awards, including one for Scherzinger's co-star Tom Francis.
Succession actress Sarah Snook was also victorious on the night, walking away with Best Actress in a Play for her performance in The Picture Of Dorian Gray, adapted from the Oscar Wilde novel. In the adaptation, Snook plays all 26 characters.
This year has proved to be an award-filled one for Snook, who also won an Emmy for her performance as Shiv Roy in the hit HBO show, which concluded last spring.
The 2024 Olivier Awards is available to stream now on ITVX.
