What Digital Marketing & eCommerce contributes to Cardinal HealthMarketing is responsible for assessing customer needs, market conditions and competition to inform business strategy. Marketing implements the strategy through developing, commercializing and monitoring the appropriate products and services.Digital Marketing & eCommerce is responsible for developing and driving digital marketing campaigns and strategies that meet and/or exceed business objectives and provide additional insight about our customers across all digital channels.Job SummaryThe Digital Marketing Manager plays a leading role in driving the strategy, initiatives, and programs for Edgepark, a division of Cardinal Health. This role is responsible for managing digital awareness, education, and conversion with the goal of driving revenue, user acquisitions, and brand recognition. It is imperative this role takes the lead on delivering growth by optimizing organic traffic channels including onsite content, SEO, landing pages, and communications (email/SMS) as well as owns the marketing automation technologies needed to deliver key communications.
In this highly collaborative role, this Manager will work with other marketing team members to generate creative content and leverage the full capabilities of the digital marketing platforms, and the IT, Product Management, and Customer Operations teams to deliver the right communications at the right time to the right customer. Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth with end-to-end management of organic marketing programs in support of new customer acquisition and retention efforts.
- Collaborate with the Channel Marketing team to optimize campaign success through marketing automation workflows.
- Continually analyze content through all digital channels to ensure resonation with the intended audience.
- Be the voice of internal and external customers to ensure all campaigns and projects meet needs and create a great customer experience.
- Understand overarching business objectives and strategy and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define campaign goals and KPIs.
- Drive data-driven analysis and insights to improve efficacy and value to the business.
- Socialize channel strategy, priorities, and goals to ensure cross-functional alignment and effective digital marketing management.
- Define audience engagement strategies to ensure maximum potential for campaigns.
- Optimize traffic, conversion, and ROI based on brand, customer, and product growth strategies.
- Understand and implement SEO best practices on all web and landing pages.
- Identifies and remains current on global market trends and stays up to date on digital trends to maintain market competitiveness and achieve sustainable economic success.
- Effectively and appropriately collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver on project objectives and customer-focused solutions, including product launches.
- Thinks beyond the patient to optimize the experience for healthcare practitioners, payers, and manufacturers.
- Ability to think innovatively and creatively and change course, if necessary, to achieve desired results.
- Cross-functional collaboration is a must with business intelligence, development, marketing, and commercial teams.
- Serve as a people manager and career coach for direct reports.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in digital marketing, healthcare marketing experience preferred
- BS/BA degree, preferably in Marketing and/or equivalent experience preferred
- Collaborates with leadership and peers to ensure understanding of key initiatives and results
- Outstanding project management skills and the ability to prioritize, multi-task and be a self-starter
- Experience with full funnel execution and management of marketing campaigns
- Proficient with Marketing Automation Technologies, ex- HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Proficient working with transactional communication technologies in both email and SMS, ex- SendGrid
- Previous management of Content Management Systems, and eCommerce systems a plus
- Financial and budgetary planning and forecasting for programs and campaigns, familiarity with Tableau a plus
- Relentlessly curious, customer centric and data driven, with a proven track record of turning insights into successful tactics
- Team player with excellent communication skills and possess the ability to present key ideas in an articulate manner
- Expertise in campaign and channel analysis and reporting, including Google Analytics experience Google Analytics certification, a plus
What is expected of you and others at this level
- Extremely proficient with data analysis and in quantitative and qualitative customer research, including conducting voice of customer (VOC) research
- Experience developing strategic initiatives which align with business goals and budget
- Strong understanding of both promotional and transactional communications and how to be effective in each
- Dynamic presentation skills and experience making effective presentations to large and varied audiences.
- Ability to shift priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and can bring structure to complex, ambiguous situations
- Experience in dealing with multiple brands and/or stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with customers, peers, colleagues, and executives. You can succinctly articulate goals, progress, and priorities in written, verbal, and presentation formats.
- Manages department operations and supervises professional employees, front line supervisors and/or business support staff
- Participates in the development of policies and procedures to achieve specific goals
- Ensures employees operate within guidelines
- Decisions have a short-term impact on work processes, outcomes and customers
- Interacts with subordinates, peers, customers, and suppliers at various management levels; may interact with senior management
- Interactions normally involve resolution of issues related to operations and/or projects
- Gains consensus from various parties involved
Anticipated salary range:$102,000 - $145,700
