    I was thrilled to attend New York Women in Communications at their 54th annual Matrix Awards as they honored exemplary "rule breakers" who are smashing the status quo and carving their own paths to success. Hosted by Ally Love , the event celebrated the professional journeys of 7 exceptional women from different walks of life and wide-ranging industries. Honorees included Nina Garcia, Kristin Chenoweth, Jill Cress, Meredith Kopit Levien, Jennifer Lowney, Nancy Reyes, and Rakia Reynolds.Beyond an award ceremony, this event was a gathering of supportive and motivational leaders building bridges and networks to elevate a community. Dating back to 1970 when it was first presented to Gloria Steinem, the Matrix Awards continues its tradition of celebrating the achievements of female leaders who effect positive change in media and the arts.     As many of you know, I sit on the board of Fashion Group International, Inc., a fantastic organization of leaders in fashion, beauty, lifestyle and retail that aims to build bridges with communities in the creative arts and inspire collaboration and innovation. One of the most meaningful roles that I serve is being a part of the mentorship program, which supports and fosters new talent and emerging entrepreneurs in the industry. At our 28th Annual Rising Star Awards luncheon, we proudly recognized this year's selection of the next generation of creative talent. Forty-four nominees were honored in nine categories across fashion apparel, fine jewelry, accessories and more. We also introduced the inaugural Future Fashion Award sponsored by Macy's, which will go to a college student recipient each year.This award is so special because of its legacy of launching the careers and businesses of brands such as Christian Soriano, Jason Wu, Tory Burch, Thom Browne and more. The rising stars of today become the household names of tomorrow, and FGI was a source of nurture and support from the beginning.     Incredibly inspired by all the intelligent and accomplished women at Worth Magazine's Groundbreaking Women's Summit 2024. It was a beautiful day of community building, meeting new people, and non-stop learning from the wealth of knowledge overflowing from each speaker on every panel. It's a wonder it all fit in one room! It never ceases to amaze me how much we can lift each other up when we put smart and supportive women in a room and let the ideas flow. In my role as CEO of Luxe Collective Group, I strive to elevate the performance and productivity of everyone in the company in order to better serve our clients. I succeed when my team succeeds. Meeting so many luminaries at the summit reinforces my commitment to be a source of support for my fellow women entrepreneurs and a strong advocate for young professionals eager to break molds and disrupt the status quo. A new normal is within our grasp if we work together. As the adage goes - a rising tide lifts all boats.     Travel is food for the soul and vacation season is upon us! Spent ten days in England and feel like going right back. Loved every minute of it! Visited the City of Bath, the Cotswolds, Stonehenge, and Windsor before settling in London for some shopping, arts and culture, and amazing afternoon teas. Was sure to make time to visit some of my favorite brands in Mayfair and at Harrod's - Montres Breguet, Blancpain, and Harry Winston - and even spotted a few historic Breguet timepieces on display at the The British Museum. Always fascinating to know that brands we work with today have so much rich history and you can find them on display in museums around the world. Here's to travel season!     Thrilled to see the incredible Oprah Winfrey this past week and to thank her in person for a great platform not afraid to tackle the important things. The Luxe team was grateful to have collaborated with Judith Sampson at Wacoal and the Oprah Daily team for a campaign to launch Wacoal’s very special Cooling Collection!Pushing boundaries and aligning to content important to women at every lifestage grants power and enlightenment! This collection is revolutionary for women experiencing changes in their bodies due to natural menopause and also the medically induced type following treatments. Having seen friends and family who suffer the side effects based on lifestage, but also the survivors who struggle post chemotherapy treatments, I was proud to help see this product line come to life through this media partnership! I know it will help so many! Hats off to the Wacoal team 👏

    Had the great pleasure of speaking at the Luxury Roundtable’s Marketing Summit this week on reaching intergenerational consumers. It is a topic that most advertisers are grappling with and is even more important for heritage luxury brands that want to create aspirations that lead to attainability. How does a brand retain its prestige with a dedicated group of loyal clients who still consume traditional forms of media, while creating desire from younger audiences for whom the phone is an appendage to their bodies? The answer is simple -- not all impressions are equal. We strongly consider the engagement factor of every impression we place and the receptivity of the consumer at the time they see our messages. Multifunctionality of creative assets is key to ensuring campaign messages work in a full-funnel media mix. Therefore, the circularity of influence can go from younger consumers to their parents, and then from those adults to their circle of friends -- each consuming the same brand message from a variety of platforms. Needless to say, this was a truly dynamic and informational discussion and I'd like to thank Mickey ALAM KHAN for bringing us together. These events throughout the year are a labor of love for him and he tirelessly organizes the Luxury Roundtable Summits to encourage networking and brand building. No one does it like Mickey and we are all better for it.
